What Beverages Cause Health and Weight Issues?

I must be under the misconception that what the food companies sell is good for the public? Who are you kidding?!?  With all the new beverages coming to the market it is nice to know that there is now a “Good Drink vs Bad Drink.”  You are what you drink and with the rise in diabetes these drinks could be contributing factors. Also by eliminating these drinks from your diet you could start to see a little trimming around the waist line.

What beverages cause health and weight issues?

Do you know anyone who would sit down and consume 6 Krispy Creme doughnuts and not feel like it went straight for their hips. Well it is good to know then, that drinking a can of Rockstar is just like sitting down and inhaling 6 glazed Krispy Creme doughnuts. Yummy…

Wanted a really unhealthy kids beverage? Try Tropicana Fruit Fury Twister with 10% fruit juice and 90% sugar water. You could actually save 200 calories by drinking a Pepsi instead. This just goes to show you that fruit juice may not be any better than soda?

Who here loves Starbucks??? Can’t go a day without it I am betting… so this is good for you to know. Named worst espresso drink… Starbucks Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha with Whip-cream (venti 20oz) — Ladies grab a bowl and scoop out 8 1/2 scoops of Edy’s slow churned rich and creamy coffee ice cream! Even I can’t eat that much ice cream in one sitting. I would be sick…

These are just a few of the beverages mentioned in Mens Health Magazine 20 Worst Drinks in America.

I invite you to read about the other beverages mentioned. The sugar count alone could account for the rise in diabetes and the number of carbohydrates in the drinks could be adding to your waist line.

Want to know what drink will help you lose weight? You got it… Water! Your body is made up of 90% water and it has been said that what we think is hunger is our body actually asking for water. So do your body good and drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. You will be amazed at the difference.

So are you consuming any of the 20 top worst beverages? Would love to hear your opinion. Comment below and share your thoughts on better beverages to help with your health and weight.

I recommend Innergize for a fantastic sports drink. It is only sports beverage I have found that actually has a nutritional patent on it. Meaning it is unique and there is nothing like it on the market. Great for drinking during sport events and even after mowing the lawn! Keeps you hydrated and healthy.

Cheers to Your Optimal Health!

  4. In addition to water, try Syfo Beverages; they have seltzers and naturally-flavored sparkling waters that are great for losing weight. They contain no sugar, sodium or artificial sweeteners and are made with purified water. The testimonials on their website at http://www.syfobeverages.com have some great stories on people losing weight with incredible results. Drinking Syfo has worked for my wife too.
